Season One

Season One is all about the soft square shape of British Columbian Porcelain beads. I call them BC Bricks, and this handcrafted mold was made from my personal collection of beads. A miniature wall of bricks supplies bacterial colonies with a wide variety of canyons and surface nooks to call home. The grout between each brick is hand perforated to provide even more depth and is visibly mottled with texture. These perforations are well beyond the scale needed to be colonized by Beneficial bacteria.
